Emergency first aid for the workplace
A regulated, nationally recognised qualification for people with a specific responsibility to provide first aid at work, and for those providing basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.
Syllabus
What's covered
Over one day learners build the skills to handle a range of emergency first aid situations.
- Role of the emergency first aider and assessing an incident
- Unresponsive casualty, recovery position and CPR with defibrillation
- Choking, seizures and shock
- Wounds, bleeding and minor injuries
- Minor burns and scalds
