The full three-day Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) for appointed workplace first aiders — delivered to groups of up to 12 at our Taunton centre or on your site.
The qualification
For appointed first aiders
A regulated, nationally recognised qualification designed for people appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It also suits those with a responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.
Syllabus
What's covered
Three days of practical training across a wide range of first aid situations, from CPR to fractures and medical emergencies.
- Assessing an incident, unresponsive casualty, CPR and defibrillation
- Heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes and anaphylaxis
- Head, spinal and chest injuries; fractures, sprains and dislocations
- Wounds, bleeding, shock, burns and scalds
- Choking, poisoning and eye injuries
