What Is an Award in Education and Training?
The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) is an ideal introduction to teaching for anyone who delivers training or education as part of their role. It’s perfectly suited to those who support learning in the workplace, volunteer settings, or who aspire to teach within the further education and skills sector — including colleges, independent training providers, and Local Authorities.
This qualification provides Trainee Trainers with a solid foundation in teaching and training practice. As a knowledge‑based award, there is no minimum teaching practice requirement, meaning you can complete it even if you’re not currently in a teaching role.
It’s widely recognised across the sector and considered the industry standard starting point for anyone beginning their teaching journey. By completing this qualification, you’ll gain an accredited, regulated award that equips you with the essential skills, confidence, and understanding needed to take your next steps in education and training.
Online Delivery
This course is delivered over 4 engaging days in a virtual learning environment. Our experienced and knowledgeable educators will guide you through the content using our online video platform.
Throughout the course, our teaching team will tailor the learning experience to your needs to help you achieve the required outcomes.
Your assessment includes a short online microteach, completed on the final day of the course. After the taught element, you’ll have up to one year from the course start date to complete the post‑course workbooks at your own pace
Due to the online delivery of this course, students can attend from any location, dialing into the classroomn from the comfrot of their home or workplace to join the class.
On completion, you will be issued a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, giving you a nationally recognised qualification that sets you up for a successful career in the education and training sector
