What is a BTACC Course?
BTACC delivers a high level of enhanced first aid, specifically designed for emergency services personnel and high-risk workplace emergency response team members. Candidates will be equipped with skills and knowledge to confidently manage time critical medical and trauma emergencies in an engaging manner using our experience in providing casualty care in a real world environment.
What is Covered?
The objective of the qualification is to prepare learners to deal with serious medical and trauma incidents in a realistic and immersive way that develops knowledge, skills and confidence. It is designed to support Emergency Services workers, Close Protection Operatives, Emergency Responders and High Risk Industry to respond to medical and trauma emergencies in the context of their role.
BTACC is a regulated qualification through Qualification Network United Kingdom (QNUK). It meets the First Aid at Work (FAW) syllabus in the Health and Safety at Work (First Aid) Regulations 1981 guidance*. The BTACC course maps to the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (FPHC) Descriptor D on the Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) competency framework.
Regulated ATACC Group Qualification
The ATACC Group (TAG)offer a suite of regulated qualifications in collaboration with Qualification Network UK (QNUK) who are an Ofqual, CCEA and Qualification Wales recognised Awarding Organisation. We are also a Royal College of Surgeons, London approved Educational Centre.
