What Is a Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (RQF) Requalification?

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) Recertification course renews an existing FREC 3 qualification. Over three days, learners refresh and update their prehospital emergency care knowledge and practical skills, ensuring they remain competent to operate as a FREC 3 responder.

The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) Recertification is a three-day requalification course for individuals who currently hold a valid FREC 3 certificate and need to renew their qualification before expiry.

The course refreshes essential prehospital emergency care knowledge and practical skills required of a Level 3 First Response Emergency Care provider. Learners revisit key areas including patient assessment, airway management, trauma care, medical emergencies and resuscitation, ensuring their practice remains aligned with current UK prehospital care standards.

This course is intended for individuals who currently hold a valid FREC 3 qualification and are required to renew their certification. It is suitable for event medical staff, security personnel, close protection operatives and responders working in environments where a Level 3 prehospital care qualification is required.
